Ford Zephyr Seat Belt
Ford of Britain manufactured the Ford Zephyr from the year 1950 until 1972. The vehicle was introduced to the Australian and New Zealand automotive markets in later years as well but never hit the American market.

In the beginning, the four-cylinder version of the vehicle was called the Ford Consul, but starting from the year 1962, both four and six-cylinder versions were given the Zephyr nameplate. The Ford Zephyr, along with its luxury counterparts—the Ford Executive and the Ford Zodiac—happened to be the largest passenger cars in the British Ford range from 1950, when they were introduced, to 1972, when the Ford Granada and the Ford Consul replaced them.

The mark I model of the Ford Zephyr also called the Zephyr Six, ran from 1951 to 1956. This model was available as a 2-door convertible, a 4-door sedan, and a 5-door estate. The Zephyr Zodiac, or Zodiac Mark I, model was produced from 1954 to 1956 and was made available as a 4-door saloon and a 5-door estate. The Mark II was on the market from 1956 to 1962. This model was available as a 2-door coupe utility, a 2-door convertible, a 4-door saloon, a 5-door estate, and a 5-door station wagon. After the Zephyr Mark II, the Zodiac Mark II, the Mark III (also known as the Zephyr 4 Mark III), the Zephyr 6 Mark III, the Zodiac Mark III, the Mark IV, and the Zodiac and Executive Mark IV were produced as well.
