Cadillac Model B SRS Airbag Modules
The Cadillac Model B was similar to their Model A, sharing its engine but using a pressed-steel frame and axles but was on a longer 76 in wheelbase. The Model B was available in two different styles as a runabout or a touring car with a detachable rear-entrance tonneau and optional surrey top, or with a delivery body. The sloping dash was replaced in the Model B by a detachable box-like front to the body and a vertical radiator. Furthermore, all body styles lost as much as 70 pounds weight, so prices went up to $50. The passenger cars were both priced at $900 and weighed about 1,450 lb. The Cadillac Model B continued producing automobiles in through 1905 when an alternative tubular front axle was available and the power was advertised as 9 hp.
The Model B was definitely a step up from the Cadillac Model A, and certainly showed its features that were changed. One thing that didn’t change was the safety features. Airbags are one of your main safety components to keep you safe in case of a collision. Airbags are there so keep you from hitting your windshield, and to give you an extra cushion when you are in an accident. If you do own a vehicle that provides airbags, always keep them maintained. Some people forget that if they have been in an accident, even a minor one they don’t get their SRS airbag module reset. This is very important because when you have been in an accident the airbag might not work properly if you get into another one. If you are in need of module reset, Safety Restore can help. Safety Restore is a company that specializes not only in seat belt repairs but also in SRS airbag module resets. They will reset your old module to better than factory condition and will give you a lifetime warranty on it.
