Cadillac Series 85 SRS Airbag Modules
The 85 Series was sadly made appear less important by Cadillac, though under its hood tells a different story with Cadillac's magnificent V-12 engine, a smaller version of the Cadillac V-16 introduced in 1930 and hallmarked as amazing in its design in not only its mechanics but its appearance as well. In the year 1937, Series 80 was dropped leaving only the long-wheelbase Series 85 to be produced. The only main and substantial mechanical changes were the adoptions of an oil-bath air cleaner and a pressure radiator cap. Sales did not make it more than 478 units and then, unfortunately, Series 85 was discontinued at the end of the year 1937.
Unfortunately, this model did not last long and production ended in 1937 when they came out with a new model. They didn’t add new features to the vehicle, but the design was outstanding. Furthermore, in the year that it was produced one thing it did not have was an airbag system. Sadly airbags started being used in the 1970s. Airbags are one of your main safety components to keep you safe in case of a collision. Airbags are there so keep you from hitting your windshield, and to give you an extra cushion when you are in an accident. If you do own a vehicle that provides airbags, always keep them maintained. Some people forget that if they have been in an accident, even a minor one they need to get their SRS airbag module reset. This is very important because when you have been in an accident the airbag might not work properly if you get into another one. If you are in need of module reset, Safety Restore can help. Safety Restore is a company that specializes not only in seat belt repairs but also in SRS airbag module resets. They will reset your old module to better than factory condition and will give you a lifetime warranty on it.
