Cadillac Type 53 SRS Airbag Modules
The Cadillac Type 53 produced and manufactured by Cadillac in 1916, was the first car to use the same control layout as modern vehicles. It featured the gear lever and hand brake in the middle of the front two seats, a key started ignition, and it also had three pedals for the clutch, brake, and throttle in the modern order. If you were someone that enjoyed going fast back then, this was the vehicle to have because this Cadillac was driven by a 77 horsepower V8 engine. The Cadillac Type 53 remained in production for one year only. The following year the Cadillac Type 55 replaced the Type 53.
The Cadillac Type 53 is a beautiful and classic automobile, and you can still see it today at some showcases or classic car shows. Not many were produced because it was in production for only a year. If someone does own this vehicle driving on modern roads probably would not be the best because unfortunately, these vehicles did not come with some safety components including airbags. Airbags are required in all new vehicles and are there to protect you from hitting the windshield in a collision. If you notice that your airbag light is on there can be many reasons why. You should always get it checked and never ignore the issue. Having a SRS airbag module reset is a great idea. Safety Restore can help you with your module reset, and have it done within 24 hours or less of receiving your airbag module. The best is they save you thousands of dollars by using your old airbag module and restoring it to better than factory condition.
