Cadillac XLR SRS Airbag Modules
The Cadillac XLR is a front-engine, rear-drive, two passenger roadster manufactured and marketed by Cadillac from the years 2003–2009. The Cadillac XLR was also called a luxury roadster and offered a number of features either as standard equipment or as options, including a touchscreen GPS navigation radio with an AM/FM radio, CD changer, XM Satellite Radio, full voice control, and a full Bose premium amplified audio system, Bulgari-branded clock,  OnStar, High Intensity Discharge front headlamps, perforated luxury leather-trimmed seating surfaces with power-adjustable, heated and ventilated bucket seats with a driver's memory system, luxury carpeted floor mats with embroidered 'XLR' logos, premium aluminum-alloy wheels, and wood interior trim. The XLR added a new front fascia, new rear fascia, and chrome side fender vents for the model year 2009. Sadly, XLR production ended on March 31, 2009 and only lasted one generation.

This vehicle had many upgrades in its years that it was produced, especially the interior of the car. The production stopped in 2009, but some people still own this car. If you do own this car, whether you bought it new or used, you always have to make sure that the airbag system works properly. If your airbag light is on, there could be a few reasons why, like the Airbags deployed, faulty seat belt pretensioners, faulty airbag clockspring, crash sensors fault, crash data store, wiring harness problem, or miscommunication or no communication. No matter the reason you should always check it out. IF you need an airbag module reset then go to Safety Restore, they will reprogram your SRS module to factory condition, making the airbag computer as good as new. All codes from the accident will be erased and cleared. Any SRS faults that are present will come back up until the problem is addressed.
