The Ford F150 trucks were introduced to the United States in 1948. They went through 13 generations of redesigning the truck to make it the way it looks today. The first-generation F-Series trucks carried the designations of F-1 through F-8. The first generation was produced from 1948 through 1952. The second generation was between 1953 and 1956.
