SRS Airbag Module Programming

An SRS airbag module, referred to as the SDM, RCM, ACM, airbag controller or simply the airbag computer is responsible for storing crash data and hard codes after an accident. These codes cannot be removed or erased using any scan tools or dealer programming as they are hard-written on to chips that vary from model to model. Some popular SRS airbag module chips are:
